Katrina Kaif's Dost Protocol: she says Salman is just a message away

Katrina Kaif's relationship status with Ranbir Kapoor may be complicated or even non-existent at present but at least the Dhoom: 3 actress has one alleged ex-boyfriend she can count on. In an interview, Katrina Kaif told Dainik bhaskar: "Salman Khan is always there, he is always just a message away. I am still very much in touch with him." Trouble in the Katrina-Ranbir paradise was reported after their recent holiday to New York and though they were spotted at Aamir Khan's some weeks ago - albeit arriving separately - they are believed to have spent Valentine's Day apart. Salman, on the other hand, is famously close to both Katrina as well as another ex-girlfriend, former model and actress Sangeeta Bijlani. And it's not just the muscle-bound Dabangg star who watches out for Katrina, the entire Khan-daan does. "We are the only family she has here. She gets pulled up by me, my sister, my father, my mother. And she has to listen, she's good at listening," Salman told NDTV in 2012, a day before the blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger - starring Salman and Katrina - released. So it was Salman Katrina turned to when it came to her sister Isabel's Bollywood debut - Dr Cabbie, which co-stars Speedy Singhs' Vinay Virmani and The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar, features Salman's name as co-producer. Of course, Salman knows all about Being Human but, when it comes to Katrina Kaif, we suspect it goes a little further than just being gentlemanly towards an former flame.

Bipasha Basu: Harman and I are a couple

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has decided to come clean about her romance with actor Harman Baweja a day after she stonewalled questions from the press saying she would be attending the IIFA awards alone and that she was waiting for "an eligible bachelor." This morning, Bipasha wrote on Twitter: Stating the obvious!Yes Harman n Me r a couple :) Finally I have met a person who is a far better human being than I am.Blessed. Bipasha and Harman have been rumoured to be in a relationship for a while now and are even said to have wedding plans for this year. Biapasha, however, announced at the IIFA press conference yesterday: "I am waiting for a proposal." Harman earlier admitted he was dating the Dhoom: 2 actress. "Our starting to see each other was very organic. Barring the fitness factor, we are very similar. She is a simple, straight-forward and honest girl who is caring and loving. For both of us, family and friends mean the most in the world and we are both emotional, caring and simple," Harman said. Bipasha previously dated actor John Abraham for nine years. John married his fiancee Priya Runchal in a secret wedding last month.

Sanjay Dutt gets another extension in parole

Actor Sanjay Dutt's parole has been extended by another 30 days. The actor has been out of jail on parole due to his wife Maanayata's illness for the last two months. Pune Divisional Commissioner Prabhakar Deshmukh confirmed saying, "the extension has been given to the actor after the police submitted a medical report of his wife Maanayata Dutt, who is not well and is under treatment." He however added, "after this there will be no more extension." Days after actor Sanjay Dutt asked for a further extension on his parole citing his wife Maanayata's illness, Dutt had initially requested for a further one-month extension on his parole. Sanjay Dutt came out on parole on December 21, 2013. He was supposed to go back into Yerawada jail on January 21, but his parole was extended to February 21. He then asked for a further extension to be by his wife's side. According to rules, a convict gets a maximum of 90-days parole, of which Sanjay Dutt has finished 60 days.

With the 3D version of Solay released, fans of the 1975 mega movie are in for another treat as the film's infamous bandit, Gabbar Singh, will be recreat in a graphic novel. Conceptualised by Sholay Media and entertainment in partnership with Graphic India,the book titled Gabbar will go on sale later this month The graphic novel explores Gabber's past and narrates a "tragic and twisted story of revenge and redemption that turned an ordinary boy into India's most famous and feared villain". "India's greatest and most frequently quoted villqin.Gabbar Singh, will finally have his own comic book," said Sharad Devarajan, co-founder and CEO of Graphic India. In addition to the book, a motion comic episodic series of the story will be released in English and Hindi across mobile devices along with Sholay: The Graphic Novel, touted to be the official graphic novel adaptation of the original movie.

Hrithik Roshan beats SRK and Akshay Kumar?

After apparently beating the likes of Shah Rukh-starrer 'RA.One' and Akshay Kumar's 'Blue', Hrithik-Kareena's 'Shuddhi' will be the costliest Bollywood movie. The movie is allegedly pegged at whooping Rs 150 crore. A Mid-Day report says that director Karan Malhotra's film will be made on a Rs 150 crore budget and the highlight of the film will be the sizzling chemistry between Hrithik and Kareena. It is also reported that the movie will be shot extensively in Bhopal.

Farah uses Shah Rukh’s brain and Sonu Sood’s body in 'Happy New Year'

Farah Khan knows what to use her boys for. We have learnt that in her next directorial venture 'Happy New Year', a heist film, Shah Rukh Khan plays the mastermind of the plot and Sonu Sood, the hulk. Apparently Sonu was to leave with his family for a holiday to the US, but Farah has given him strict instructions to go to the gym instead. Sonu being a disciplinarian, we hear he has promised his director the best body in the business. While we already know how bright Shah Rukh is, we will wait to see if Sonu keeps his promise.

Was your family okay with your decision of living in with him? No, my family was against it. They did not even listen to Kakaji when he came to convince them. So I went against my family's will and lived with him. How was Rajeshji as a person? He was very different from normal people. He had his own mood swings. He was a very difficult person. Sometimes he would be nice, while other times he would pick up fights. He had a really bad temper, and would throw things around. In those phases, he could kill you with his words. But people accuse you of going to Bigg Boss to get sympathy from the public... I went there to show my true character and to break the image from a money-seeker and liar women that Dimple and family have portrayed me to be. People saw me there all the time, they should now know what kind of a woman I am. Also, I went there because I needed money to fight my case.
